Magazine Spread Reboot

This assignment was focused on an article on when to buy new running shoes. Throughout the working process, one of the struggles faced was the realization of a skewed perspective while creating and ideating. Overthinking led to difficulty in making the moodboard, which in turn led to misunderstanding simple instructions, and organizing the magazine layout sketches. Constructive criticism from peers and the professor proved key in the needed change in thought and process. The vast majority of time was spent on researching similar magazine spreads, experimenting with layouts, and photoshopping a multitude of photographs together. Each image was recolored, and edited to fit seamlessly together, the color palette echoing the vibrant hues found in activewear.
