Bitmap Monogram
Throughout time Typefaces have constantly changed, and their increased production depended upon not only what was needed (readability, efficiency, etc), but also what was going on. Wars, Golden Eras, and an ever changing society brought evolutions in creativity and artistic expression, and Typography is no exception. The forms chosen for this assignment echo those of 80s and 90s pop culture, with simple geometric shapes, san-serif strokes, and blocky patterns. This logo, though inspired by both the tv shows and the clothing patterns of the time, also maintains a more modern look; though there are clear patterns, it is not cluttered, and though the typeface is made of thick stems and strokes, it is also elongated, and slender.
